He is survived by: his daughter Christina Kessinger of Mount Hope; his sister Jane Wheeler (Jim) of Beckley; his nephews, Dwayne Kessinger of Mount Hope, Jamie Wheeler of Huntington and Brian Wheeler; and his niece Kathy Jennings of South Carolina.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5251 Robert C Byrd Dr, Beckley, WV 25801).
