She was predeceased by : her father Bruce Blackhurst. She is survived by : her husband Darren Simpson; her sons, Brodie and Garrett of Mount Hope, WV; her mother Leslie Blackhurst of Belle, WV; her brother Jason Blackhurst; her nieces and nephews, Elaina, Finn of Westerville, OH and James Blackhurst (Kitty); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Shaylea, Jack and Brynlee; her stepchildren, Dean and Laila of Belle, WV; her father-in-law Roger Simpson of Tunnelton, WV; her sister-in-law Brandi Bucklew (David); and her nephews, Corey and Hayden of Morgantown, WV. She is also survived by Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and distant relatives.

Due to the pandemic, there will be no service or visitation open to the public.
