She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Cozart and Edith Wilcox; her husband William "Bill" Edwards; and her sisters, Doris Tanner Dickens and Shirley Tanner.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Barbara Messinger of Arcadia, CA, Len Edwards (Dolores) of West Covina, CA and Roger Edwards (Debbie) of Pomona, CA; her grandchildren, Michael Edwards of Riverview, FL, Christina Edwards of Chino, CA and Emily Edwards of Las Vegas, NV; her brother-in-law Arnold Tanner of Duck, WV; and her niece Deloris Mollohan. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Nebo Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, she requested that memorial donations be made to support the school: Abundant Life Academy.
