He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock Mahon and Mattie Mahon; his wife Janet; and his siblings, Eileen Hatfield, Mae Murphy, Betty Lou Hatfield, Ermel Lawson (Trishy Harmon) and Eugene "Hocker" Mahon.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Brown (Thomas) and Jason Mahon; his grandson Tyler Young; and his brothers, Roy Mahon (Linda), Burgess Mahon (Patsy), Billy Gene Mahon (Carolyn) and David Mahon (Karen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
