He was predeceased by : his parents, Crocket Jones and Ora Jones; his wife Eunice; his daughter Beverly Dishion; and his sons-in-law, Steve Wright and Bill Dishion.

He is survived by : his children, Samuel Junior Lee Jones (Ann) of Neola, WV, Calvin (Renee) of Iaeger, WV, Joyce Christian (Freddie) of Bluefield, WV, Glenna Wright of Bethel, OH, Rhonda McGuire of Welch, WV and Diana Lee of Enon, OH; and his siblings, Troy Jones (Effie) and Catherine Brakeall. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
