He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Wayne Smith and Kelly Jo Thomas; and his grandmother Tammy Sanford Thomas. He is survived by: his great-grandparents, Danny and Patsy Sanford; his grandfathers, Mike Smith of Rainelle and Mike Thomas (Kim) of Morgantown; his siblings, Aubrey Herndon of Charmco and Franklin Herndon of Clintonville; his aunt Tracey Posten (Kenneth) of Smoot; and his uncle Jason Thomas. He is also survived by other loving aunts, uncles, cousins; extended family.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1044 Leivasy Rd, Nettie, WV 26681).
