Phyllis A. Lyon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis A. Lyon of New Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldridge C. Kesner and Wilda M. Kesner (Dolly); her husband Robert C. "Bobby"; and her siblings, Richard "Dick" Kesner and Karen Lyon.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Dotty Kesner of Keyser; her nephews, Craig Kesner (Trina) and Brian Kesner (Tracy); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kirk Kesner (Danielle), Danielle Combs (Justin), Whitney Umstot (Brad), Curtis Kesner, Kaelyn Kesner and Alexis Kesner.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunnyside Covenant Brethren Church (9182 Northwestern Turnpike, New Creek, WV 26743). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
