He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Salvati and Madalyn Yanero Salvati; and his sister Dr. Janet Salvati. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patti" Hvizdak Salvati; his children, Gina Salvati (Michael McCleaf), Tom Salvati (Anne) and Justin "Jud" Salvati (Kelley); his grandsons, Vincent Thomas Salvati and Anthony Joseph Salvati; and his cousin Joseph "Joe Joe" Feltz.
