He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred J. Howell and Hazel F. Howell (Mason); his son Billy Howell, Jr.; and his brother T. Ardell Howell. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Howell (Wright); his children, Kristine Gieseke (Jeff) of New Martinsville, WV and John Howell of New Martinsville, WV; his grandchildren, Liza Snyder (Oscar Pegorraro), Levi Howell, Isaac Howell, Jennifer Gieseke, Sam Gieseke (Erin) and Wyatt Howell; his great grandchildren, Case Gieseke and Balen Gieseke; his daughter-in-law Kim Howell; and his siblings, Gary Howell of New Martinsville, WV, Benny Howell (Aletha) of New Martinsville, WV and Patsy Bee (David) of Mineral Wells, WV. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jarvis Williams Funeral Home (1224 S Bridge St, New Martinsville, WV 26155). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home - New Martinsville (1224 S Bridge St, New Martinsville, WV 26155).
