He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartsel "Bud" Light and Peggy Light (Smith); and his siblings, H. Buddy Light, Jr. and Beth Ann Light (Barbara J. Huggins). He is survived by: his niece Lacey Ann Ryan of New Martinsville, WV; and his nephew Jacob "Jake" Michael Ryan of Morgantown, WV. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes (1224 S Bridge St, New Martinsville, WV 26155).
