It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Sands (New Martinsville, West Virginia), who passed away on March 25, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Lloyd farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lloyd is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Lloyd Sands and Georgia Melissa Sands; and his sister Melba Rose Liddell. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sands; his children, Terry Sands (Donna), Melissa White (Mike) and Melonie Wright (Harold); and his grandchildren, Jared Wright (Alyssa), Shelby Musilli (Zach), Stephen White, Cedar Hannah (Conner), Justin Wright, Drew White (Megan) and Shyanna White.
