He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Robinson and Wilma Idolene Hart Robinson; his daughter Alana Lea Robinson; and his siblings, Wilda Claire Robinson, Robert "Bob" W. Robinson, William K. Robinson, Patricia O'Neal and Judith Robinson.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Louise Costilow Robinson; his children, Matthew Eric Robinson (Joni) of Fairmont and Alicia Lynn Robinson Wright (Eric) of New Milton; his grandsons, Matthew Dalton Robinson and Nicholas Alexander Robinson; and his brother Paul Randall Robinson of Gahanna, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
