He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Glenn and Dortha Arlene Stone Bowman; his nephew Christopher Allen Bowman; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Bowman, David Miller and Dennis Hovatter.

He is survived by: his wife Anastasia Pearson Bowman of Moatsville; his sons, Luke Bowman (Toni) of Cambridge and Clint Bowman (Ashley) of Friendsville, Maryland; his grandsons, Reese and Rowan; his siblings, Michael Glenn Bowman of Tunnelton, Gary Allen Bowman (Linda) of South Fork, Colorado, Patricia Ann Miller of Moatsville, Diana Lynn Hovatter of Virginia and Rita Sue Bowman of Moatsville; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Blackwood (Andy) of Florida and Mario Pearson of Missouri. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
