We announce the death of Harvey Eugene Burke of Newburg, West Virginia, who passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 64. Harvey will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse H. Burke and Lucy Jane Burke (Summerfield); and his siblings, Donald Burke, Thomas Burke, Truman Burke, Carol Burke, Norma Simmons and Kathy Burke.
He is survived by: his close friend Michele Pyles; his son Shane "Bud" Burke (Jordan); his grandsons, Blake and Brett; his siblings, Rodney Burke (Sherry) and Linda Foster; his sister-in-law Gail Burke; and his close friends, Tim Watkins, Tom Metz and Chris Turner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Field Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
