It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Murray (Newburg, West Virginia), who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Murray (Colebank); his daughter Melissa Ann Murray; his siblings, Barbara JoClair Bolyard, Shirley Holipski and Ernie Murray; and his parents-in-law, Howard and Dona Knotts.
He is survived by: his wife Norma May Murray (Knotts) of Company's Comin; his children, Matthew Lee Murray (Rita) of Fellowsville, Joseph Howard Murray of Fellowsville, Ashley Logan Murray of Fellowsville and Jody Ann Hunter (Richard); his grandsons, Shayne Murray, Casey Murray and Grant Hunter; his siblings, Sarah Bolyard, Wanda King, Sandra Murray, Jack Murray and John Murray (Pennie); and his brother-in-law Junior Ray Bolyard.
