He was predeceased by: his parents, James Everett Sheets and Elsie Sheets (Watkins); and his siblings, Bill Sheets, George Sheets, James "Jimmy" Sheets, Alice Jean Walls and Lora Ann Bolyard.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Lorriana Sheets (Watkins); his daughter Koren Cox (Donnie); his grandchildren, Breanna Cox, Emmett Cox (Marlee) and Silas Cox; his daughter Treva Rock (Joshua) of Fredericksburg, VA; his grandson Richard Sheets (Nicole) of Warenton, VA; his great grandchildren, Avery Elizabeth Sheets and Layne Amelia Sheets; his grandchildren, John Rock of Alexandria, VA, Andrew Rock of Boston, MA, Ashton Rock of Fredericksburg, VA and Molly Rock of Fredericksburg, VA; and his sons, Cody Allen Bolyard and Travis Watkins of Newburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
