He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamilton Ray Bogle Bandy and Sally Elizabeth "Bessie" Quesenberry Bandy; and his siblings, James William Bandy, Kenneth L. Bandy, Rebecca Ruark and Nellie Brewster.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Bandy; his children, Kenneth Joe Bandy (Tammy) of Lincolnton, NC, Debbie Baldridge (Harold) of Newhall, WV, Pam Bloomfield (Richie) of Springville, VA and Annette Thomas (Kevin) of Princeton, WV; his sisters, Francis Lorraine Myers of Newhall, WV and Nora Ann Hubbard of Secretary, MD; and his grandchildren, Danyetta Bandy-Cooper, Alex Bloomfield, Katie Ann Thomas and Clayton Austin Thomas.
