She was predeceased by: her mother Lula E. McClain Tawney; her son Cary Stephen Smith; and her sisters, Regina Carlucci, Joyce Moore and Freda Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen B. Smith; her niece Deedrea J. Harold; and her nephew William J. "Bill" Harold. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Hill Cemetery (2765 Uler Rd, Newton, WV 25266).
