He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cecil, Cora Blankenship and Levi Prater. He is survived by: his parents, Johnny Prater of Freeburn, KY and Martha "Dottie" Blankenship of Newtown, WV; his daughter Remmy Taelynn Prater; his siblings, Cecilia Prater of Majestic, KY, Michael Prater (Melissa) of Merrimac, WV and Johnny Levi Prater of Newtown, WV; and his grandmother Dora. He is also survived by 8 half brothers and sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.
