He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Skeen and Ellen Skeen; his former wife Loretta Skeen (Edens); his wife Norma Sue Skeen (Peters); and his siblings, Charles F. Skeen, Rayburn B. Skeen, Marcella Ramsey and Irma J. Luycx Claudius.
He is survived by: his son Michael Holcomb (Bavaria); his granddaughter Heather M Ammons; his great grandchildren, Grayson L. Ammons and Claire M. Ammons; and his nieces and nephews, Rachael, Dreama, Joellen, Dixie, Betty, Teresa, Pete, Danny, Darrell, Floyd, Joe, Ray, Dale, Jackie and Richard. He is also survived by friends and his church family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cooke Funeral Home Chapel (2002 20th St, Nitro, WV 25143). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Heaven's Gateway Memorial Gardens.
