We announce the death of Denver Skeens of Nitro, West Virginia, who passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 94. Denver will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Denver’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Skeens and Victoria Fields; his wife Norma Skeens; and his daughter Deborah Robinson. He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Alford; and his grandchildren, Shane Robinson and Sarah Lange (Greg).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gatens-Harding Funeral Home (147 Main St, Poca, WV 25159).
