He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kessler and Ruby Sewell Kessler; his grandparents, Henry and Odessa Sewell Kessler; his granddaughter Allexis Vest; and his brother Ralph Kessler.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Krantz Kessler; his children, Yancey Kessler (Cindy), Jo Ann Kessler, Jeremy Vest, Larry Robert Vest (Tracy), William Vest (Crystal) and Justin Kessler; his grandchildren, Emily, Abby, Jamey, Ian, Kingston, Jordan, Anna, Landon, Roman, Olivia, Logan, Dylan, Jacob, Kelsi, Adam, Ashley, Nate and Benjamin; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bryson, Hunter, Malachi, Avery, Palmer, Zyire, Callaway and Jase; his brother Mike Kessler (Kelly); and also Max. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cooke Funeral Home Chapel (2002 20th St, Nitro, WV 25143). The military honors will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cooke Funeral Home and Crematorium - Nitro (2002 20th St, Nitro, WV 25143).
