We announce the death of Karl Harry Angell Jr. (Nitro, West Virginia), who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Angell, Sr. and Mabel Angell; and his siblings, Larry Angell I, Linda Bonnet, Vicky Angell and Bruce Angell.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Angell and Andy Angell (Meredith); his fiancée Lara Miller; his former wife Gretis Angell; and his sister Merce Hall of Nitro. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Cooke Funeral Home and Crematorium - Nitro (2002 20th St, Nitro, WV 25143). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
