We announce the death of Otha Ralph Vannoy Jr. (Nitro, West Virginia), who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 88. Otha will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha Ralph Vannoy Sr. and Ava Bailey Vannoy. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou Vannoy; his children, Hilliary Vannoy and Otha "Oatie" Vannoy III (Daina); his stepsons, Michael McKeny and Jeffrey McKeny (Tracie); his grandchildren, Darian, Jones and Lane Durette; and his stepgrandchildren, Colin McKeny and Erin McKeny Nunley (Kalin).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kingdom Life Fellowship Church (405 1st Ave S, Nitro, WV 25143). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens (5233 Rocky Fork Rd, Cross Lanes, WV 25313).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to hospice in Ralph's memory.
