He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Light and Darlie Light; and his brothers, James "Jim", Walter "Cork" and William "Wendy" Light.
He is survived by: his brother Michael "Mike" Light; the mother of his children Brenda Keen; his children, Deborah McGhee, Scott Light and Lorie Light; his grandchildren, Dalton Lipscomb (Megan), Nicholas McGhee (Deanna), Brandi Criniti and Joseph Lipscomb (Destiny); his great grandchildren, Grayson and Layla Lipscomb; and his grandchildren, Leo, Owen and Chloe McGhee.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Ridenour Park (Ridenour Pk, Nitro, WV 25143).
