He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Patricia Ellen Marshall Nichols; and his brother James Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Graham Nichols; his children, Randy Nichols, Mechelle Sopsher (Brian) and Patricia Asbury (Matt) of Winston-Salem, NC; his siblings, Ronnie Nichols (Amy) of Bluefield, WV, Darlene Greenwall (Riley) and Betty Fowler (Jerry) of Maybeury, WV; and his sister-in-law Carol Nichols of Princeton, WV.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
