It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Marion Goss Gottschall of Norton, West Virginia, who passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Judith shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Judith farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Richard Goss and Dorothy Margaret Boone Goss; her husband Robert "Bob" Frederick Gottschall of Bob's Hot Dogs; her grandson Stanley Lackus; and her daughter-in-law Michelle Gottschall.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Gottschall Jr. (Judy), William Gottschall, Mark Gottschall, Matthew Gottschall (Cheryl) and Melody Lackus (Albert). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
