Hartzell, Walter "Bud" Hartzell, Robert "Slats" Hartzell, Russell "Nook" Hartzell and Jean Hartzell Hawkins; his sisters-in-law, Nelma Bright Hartzell, Judy Hartzell and Betty Hartzell; and his nephews, John C. Hartzell and Russell "Rusty" Hartzell.
He is survived by: his children, Carrie McKenna (Billy) of Nutter Fort and David Hartzell (Christa Lantz Hartzell) of Nutter Fort; his grandchildren, Abriann, Lilliann Hartzell and Cianna McKenna; his sisters, Judith Richardson Thompson (Gene) and Linda Richardson Woods (Tommy Woods); and his sister-in-law Joyce Hartzell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
