She is survived by: her husband Richard A. "Rick" Hitt, Sr.; her children, Elizabeth Calef (Barry) of Nutter Fort and Ricky Hitt (Annette) of Clarksburg; her grandchildren, Mariah Gilmore (Cody), Ezra Calef (Tiffany), Julian Hitt, Katie Hitt and Olivia Hitt; her great grandchildren, Reya and Kyren Gilmore; her sister Nina Hyde; and her pet Maggie.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301).
