She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis M. "Bert" Malcomb and Phoebe J. Malcomb (Miller); her husband Russell Smith Vargo; her daughter Monica Riley Shaw; and her siblings, Ruby Carpenter, Roz Zackaris and Rebecca Snider.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda J. Kiley (Bill) of Nutter Fort; her granddaughters, Theresa Kiley-Pettit of Salem and Nicole Kiley of Hudson, FL; her great grandchildren, Christopher German of Salem and Ashley Colburn (Daniel) of New Milton; and her children, Hailey Lavoe, Emmaleigh Rose Colburn, William Colburn, Matthew Murphy, Tyler Hilton and Alyssa Kiley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home (329 E Main St, Clarksburg, WV 26301). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens (457 Zachs Run Rd, Mt Clare, WV 26408). An entombment was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at the same location.
