He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora "Carl" Arnett and Mary Virginia "Jenny" Wamsley Arnett; his brother John Arnett; and his siblings-in-law, Warren Nicholson and Sharon Arnett.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Thompson Arnett; his children, Brian Franklin Arnett (Jamie Herrod) of Clarksburg and Melissa Kay Arnett (Bryan Adams) of Clarksburg; his grandchildren, Austin Arnett (Courtney Wilson), Logan Arnett, Abby Arnett, Anthony Tangari (Alexandra Duckworth), Issac Tangari, Gage Davis, Savanna Shepherd, Jayden Shepherd, Lynsie Hubbard (Jordan), Camdon and Lexie Davis; his great grandchildren, Adrian, Avri, Raelynn, Noah, Marcie and Charleigh; and his sisters, Donna Cabo (Ronnie) of Mt. Clare and Carol Nicholson of Clarksburg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
