Though George Dennis may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Owens and Lillie "Lil" Asher Owens; and his daughter Kimberly Hilliard. He is survived by: his children, George D. "Denny" "DJ" Owens, Jr. (JD) of Bridgeport and Sherri Kennedy of Lost Creek; his stepson Ryan Roberts (Helen); his grandchildren, Matthew Owens, Owen and Ava Roberts; and his brother Ron Owens (Karen) of Clarksburg.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
