It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alice Jean Osborne of Oak Hill, West Virginia, born in Summerlee, West Virginia, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John B. Bloxton and Dorothy Mae Hicks Bloxton; her husband Eddie; and her siblings, J. B., Jim, Tom and Deanna.
She is survived by : her daughters, Caroline Toney (Arthur) and Beth Burdette (Thomas) of Oak Hill; her grandsons, Richard Carington Burdette (Heather) of Crab Orchard and Coy Burdette of Oak Hill; her siblings, Peggy Jordan of Oak Hill and Bill Bloxton (Sheila) of Woodbridge, VA; her sister-in-law Sharon Bloxton of Durham, NC; and her close friends, Crystal Warner, Susie Richmond and Barbara Hickman-Toombs of Oak Hill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
