Gary Wayne Ray Obituary

We bid farewell to Gary Wayne Ray of Oak Hill, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 12, 2026 at the age of 76. Gary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Webster Ray and Myrtle Cora Ray; and his siblings, Jim Johnson, Manuel Ray, Harry "Bub" Ray, Jr. and Cynthia Frazier.

He is survived by: his close friend Harold Erwin; his wife Cindy Ray; his children, Amy Bloomfield (Mark) and Adam Ray (Amanda); his grandchildren, Derek Bloomfield, Nathan Bloomfield and Kendall Bloomfield; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Ray, Judy Gunter (George Grayiel) and Lisa Sargent. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
