He is survived by: his wife Judy Cogar Johnson; his children, Richard Johnson (Erin) and Rachel Johnson; his grandchildren, Jayden Johnson, Carter Johnson, Addy Johnson, Lily Johnson, Eleora Johnson, Myles Johnson, Sophia Johnson and Finley Johnson; and his brothers, Grover Johnson and Allen Johnson.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tyree Funeral Home- Oak Hill (999 Jones Ave, Oak Hill, WV 25901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the High Lawn Memorial Park (1435 Main St E, Oak Hill, WV 25901).
