He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Kees and Georgia Kees; his daughter Tammy Kees Terry of Heaven's Gate; and his sister Peggy Warrick. He is survived by: his wife Carole Kees; his daughter Shannon Jenkins (Jon); and his grandchildren, Landon Jenkins, Tyler Jenkins, River Terry and Ria Terry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bowers Hospice House.
