It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonathan Wade Taylor (Oak Hill, West Virginia), who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Angel; his daughter Skyler Dawn Taylor; and his grandparents, James Andrew Smith, Naomi Collins Smith, Shirley Radford Taylor and George Wayman Taylor.
He is survived by: his mother Deeana L. Smith Taylor of Fayetteville, WV.; his wife April Dawn Taylor; his son Cole Wade Taylor of Fayetteville, WV.; his father Gary Lee Taylor; his siblings, Gary Taylor (Jennifer Taylor) of Fayetteville, WV., Monica Gerber (Rodney Gerber) of Ohio and Christal Pugh (Scott Pugh) of Glen Jean, WV.; his parents-in-law, Randall and Sharon Milam of Beckley, WV.; and his siblings' children, Andrew, Hunter Taylor of Fayetteville, WV., Ashleigh, Morgan Gerber of Ohio, Taylor and Haylee Pugh of Glen Jean.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens (2150 Pea Ridge Rd, Oak Hill, WV 25901). A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
