It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Richmond (Oak Hill, West Virginia), who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Richmond and Violet Dove Richmond; and his siblings, Darrell Richmond, Roger Richmond, George Richmond, David Richmond, Billy Ray Richmond, Della Treadway, Helen Richmond, Nancy Preston, Mary Foraker, Rose Treadway and Little Man.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph "Boogie" Richmond (Shannon), Christie Adams (Gary Foster) and Erica Christian (David); his grandchildren, Lindsey Marie Massie (Curtis), Kimberly Brooke Adams (Benny Colagrosso) and Caleb Christian; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Massie, Connor Massie and Melody Colagrosso; and his niece Jenell Rice. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
The family is honoring his wishes by donating his body to the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, so that future generations may benefit.
