She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Smith and Lena Smith. She is survived by: her husband James Persinger; her children, James Persinger II (Sandra), Eric Persinger, Lisa Hogan (Jim) and Teresa Hendrick (Chris); and her adoptive son Ryan Persinger. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother; a sister; and many nieces and nephews.
