He is survived by: his children, Sandy Marshall (George) of Virginia Beach, VA and Marty Cooper (Linda) of Ocala, FL; his grandchildren, April Cooper and Nicholas Marshall; his great grandchildren, Isaiah Creed and Ariel Cooper; his siblings, Sue Lively, Pat Everett, Alfred "Buddy" Toney and Darrell Toney; and his son John. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
