With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Walker (Oak Hill, West Virginia), who passed away on August 10, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Walker and Audrey Adkins Walker Martin; his sisters, Esther Walker Thacker (William) and Anna Walker Kyle; his brother-in-law Steven Smith; and his father-in-law Jim "Doc" Harrah.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Harrah Walker; his children, Britney Walker Hanshaw (Travis) of Charlton Heights and Derek Walker (Mindy) of Daniels; his granddaughters, Aly and Lexi Hanshaw; his sister Connie Walker Smith of Charlotte, NC; his brother-in-law Gary Kyle of Valley City, OH; his mother-in-law Stephanie Parsons Harrah of Oak Hill, WV; his brothers-in-law, Scatt Harrah (Redawna) and James G. (Jimmy); and his friend Gauley Bridge. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, it is the family's wish that consideration for donations be given to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.
