We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2025, at the age of 66, Stephen Allan Broughman of Oak Hill, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Stephen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Stephen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Hugh Daniel Broughman; and his brother John W. Broughman. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Anne Broughman (Alexander); his wife Cathy Lynn Broughman (Henson); his children, Stephanie Lipscomb (Jared) and Stephen Broughman II (Devyn); his granddaughter Lainey Jayne Broughman; his sister-in-law Jeannie Morris (David); and his nephews, Samuel Morris and Jacob Morris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tyree Funeral Home- Oak Hill (999 Jones Ave, Oak Hill, WV 25901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the High Lawn Memorial Park (1435 Main St E, Oak Hill, WV 25901).
