It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tana Alexandria Higginbotham of Oak Hill, West Virginia, who passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence "Higgy" Higginbotham; her parents, Alma Mae McClaskey (Rhodes) and James McClaskey; and her brother Douglas McClaskey. She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Ann and Mandy Jo; her grandchildren, Taylor Buchanan, Craig Buchanan (Kelsie), Jackson Smith, Alle Legg, Lauren Hammontree and Lydia Hammontree; her great grandchildren, Raelynn Buchanan, Bo Buchanan, Warner Buchanan and Rhenon Buchanan; and her siblings, Linda Jasper (Sam), Cindy Hysell (Steve), Jim McClaskey (Kathy) and Crystal Ryan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oak Hill Alumni Association Scholarship Fund in Tana's memory, so that her legacy of education and excellence may continue for generations to come.
