She was predeceased by : her parents, Edwin Toler and Marian Toler of Sun Hill; her brother Cameron Toler of Sun Hill; her brother-in-law Darryl Holt; and her nephew Austin Toler of Sun Hill.

She is survived by : her husband Mike Rakes; her son Todd Rakes (Rhonda); her siblings, Marsha Holt and Brendon Toler (Angel) of Brenton; her siblings-in-law, Sherry Toler of Sun Hill, Diane Ritch (Curtis) of Charlotte, Debbie Brunty (Jeff) and Wes Rakes (Pam) of Clearfork; her grandchildren, Dakota Rakes (Addison), Hunter Rakes of Elkin and Breonna Marion (Hayden) of Mount Airy; and her great grandchild Cannon Brice Marion.
