He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Sr. Wells and Dorothy Wells (Bohr); his brother Edward; and his son Adam. He is survived by: his wife Jane Wells; his children, Keli Rueckert (Tim), Amy Womack (Barry), Barney Wells (Sherry), Jacob Parsons-Wells (Rachel) and Josh Wells (Kelsey); and his siblings, Cathy Carr, Tim Wells and Peggy Gallups.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lewis Memorial Baptist Church (1358 W Pea Rdg Rd, Huntington, WV 25705). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Barney's name to: Hospice of Huntington 1101 Sixth Avenue Huntington, WV 25701 or Lewis Memorial Baptist Church.
