He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Poindexter and Virginia Keck Poindexter; his daughter Patricia Poindexter; and his siblings, Wanda Davis, Evelyn Goodwin, Mollie Poindexter, Mabel Watts, Janet Huffman, Jerry Poindexter and Everett Poindexter.
He is survived by : his daughter Tonya Williamson; his grandchildren, Shanna Williamson and Xavier Poindexter; and his siblings, Glenna Flowers and Donny Poindexter (Ethel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
