He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Spurlock and Elvetta Bias Spurlock; his daughter Deborah Collins; his grandson Jason Spurlock; his siblings, Darrell Spurlock, Harold Spurlock (Linda), Denzil Spurlock, Sherrill Spurlock (Phyllis), Lanny Spurlock, Denver Spurlock and Nadine McKinney (Cecil); and his siblings-in-law, Reldo Miller, Vivian Spurlock and Sue Spurlock.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Stacy Spurlock; his children, Eugene Spurlock, Jr. (Sherri), Christina Hancock and Kathy Becker (Rick); his grandchildren, Kim, Kevin Britton, Deborah, Brandon Workman, Terry Lee Davis, Christopher Hancock, Toby, David Wager, Melissa and Rodman Putt; his great grandchildren, Dustin, Summer, Coltin Harvey, Landon Spurlock, Sadie, Brandon Wager, Ezra Workman, Ryan, Evan, Avery, Ted, Addison and Jasmine Putt; and his siblings, Wayne, Gilbert (Ruth), Jerry (Ruby), Jackie, Ricky (Tami), Esta Miller, Juanita Brown (Harrison), Linda Clay and Brenda Cook (Ray). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
