He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Carlos and Naomi Fields Looney; his father-in-law Andrew (Elizabeth Johnson); his grandparents, Richard, Chloe Fields, Harrison and Georgia Looney; his siblings, Kenny Looney, Patricia "Pam" Bailey and Lora Bailey; and his nephew Leslie Justice.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Faye Looney; his children, Tony Looney (Candy), Misty Dillow (David) and Lisa Hagerman (Adam); his grandchildren, Courtney Martin (Jeremy), Brandon Looney (Kaity), Anthony Hagerman and Owen Hagerman; his great grandchildren, Rory and Josie Martin; his sisters, Robin Christensen (Mike), Wanda Justice (Eugene), Sue Justice and Teresa Justus (Buster); and his nephews, John and Michael Cline. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home (4299 Coal Heritage Rd, Iaeger, WV 24844).
