He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Murray and Georgia Murray; his daughters, Debbie Van Dyke and Sharon Murray; and his siblings, Neva, John, Dorothy, William, Mary and Lorraine.

He is survived by : his wife Grace Cumberledge Murray; his children, Donald (Coleen) and Patsy Davis; and his brother Herbert.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home of South Parkersburg (2333 Pike St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
