He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Eugene and Helen Lorraine Sbordone James; his daughter Lorrie James Bannister; and his brother Paul Joseph James. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Crowley James; his daughter Pamela James-Perkins; his grandchildren, Paige Elizabeth Bannister of Morgantown, Reilly Ann Bannister of Huntington, Trey B. Hanna and Von Perkins of Annapolis, MD.; his great grandchildren, Ellana Rose Taylor and Jacqueline Lorraine Taylor; his sisters, Nancy Marlow and Carma Lehman of Parkersburg; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Crowley (Nancy) of Vienna, Michael B. Crowley (Dori) of Prairieville, Susie Corbitt James of Chicago and Sharon Crowley of Santa Cruz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to St. Jude Children' Hospital.
